The benefits of exfoliating with AHAs in your products

I have been testing beauty products for a couple of months now, and there are new trends in the market of creating skincare products that are effective and performs. The beauty industry is un-dated with new technologies, ingredients and different methods of creating natural and organic skincare products.

I have since discovered chemical exfoliants called alpha hydroxy acids ‘AHAs’ and beta hydroxy acids ‘BHAs’. These acids are used for different skin concerns and are naturally derived as they are mostly used give your skin a boost by rejuvenating the skin and shedding off dead skin cells. We will explore what AHAs are and products you can buy to use as part of your skincare routine.

What are AHA in skincare and how do they come to be the ‘IT’ ingredients?

The alpha hydroxyl acids ‘AHAs’ are derived from different superfoods, for instance, is derived from citrus fruits you will find citric acids, from sugar cane you find glycolic acids, in fruits, they known as malic acid and the ingredient derived from milk/lactose is called lactic acid. The use of these acids in your beauty products will help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, they also help with hyperpigmentation and also renew your cells giving you a beautiful glow after using a product with AHA in it. Some of the benefits of AHAs in skincare are that they help with preventing acne breakouts, and also they improve the collagen of the skin. Below are the products that I have tested and really love for their performance and making my skin look beautiful and radiant.
